This top floor 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo has been recently updated and is thoughtfully furnished and stocked to make this unit your home away from home! The living room features a dining area for four people that is open to the lanai for indoor/outdoor living! Open the windows to enjoy the cooling trade winds! The kitchen is fully stocked for the chef of your family! All new vinyl plank flooring installed on main level in late 2022.
The Tradewinds Market is located down the street to pick up the essentials and cook up your favorite meal for al fresco dining on the lanai. Located on the first floor is the guest bedroom with queen size bed and a bathroom located off the hallway that has been recently updated! The primary bedroom is located upstairs with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom that features an updated vanity and shower. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore!
There is an added bonus room upstairs with a futon couch and TV making it the perfect private getaway for the keiki (kids)! This condo is the perfect for couples and small families! The living room features an AC unit and there are ceiling fans throughout the unit. There is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

Breathtaking Views

Had a wonderful 10 day vacation with my sister we watched the whales every day it was amazing so many mamas and babies. We also saw lots of turtles daily. The location is great. We were able to walk to our whale watch boats and enjoy happy hour at one of the restaurants at the harbor location. I look forward to returning next February 2025.

Only place we stay!

This is a quiet condo unit. Not many tourists which we like. Close the Kihei and many great restaurants. Great sunrises but sunsets are behind the building. This is our fifth trip and have stayed at the Banyons every trip. We will go again!
This location is truly a treasure. We love to hear that you were up with the sun and able to enjoy the beautiful Mauian sunrises. We really appreciate your feedback, we look forward to hosting you again!

Beautiful Ocean Views

Great experience, please note there is very limited Air conditioning, so much so we didn't use it. We opened windows and used the trade winds.

Lovely Stay in Maui

The location of this condo is fantastic situated between West and South Maui it was a breeze to get to either side quickly. The ocean front was glorious to sit out to have our morning coffee and the constant sound of the waves was dreamy.
This unit served our needs during our stay, however, there are some things that could use updating/replacing. The carpet on the stairs in the loft is in desperate need of replacement. It's dirty and stained and I'm not even sure it can be professionally cleaned.
The sofa is very uncomfortable. It feels like a simple wood frame with very little cushion support. While we typically don't spend alot of time "lounging" in our condo, we were unfortunately forced to spend a few days condo bound due to the hwy closure during the wildfires.
The queen bed in the main floor bedroom was not comfortable and was very "springy". When one person would move the entire bed would bounce.
We did keep the windows open to have the breeze come through, however, some days the winds were too strong and we couldn't keep the windows open because the screen upstairs would pop off. We also noticed when the windows were open there would be dust/dirt covering all the surfaces and floors of the condo, which required us to sweep/mop and wipe surfaces continually. The breeze didn't keep the loft area not the main floor bedroom cooled. There is an air conditioner but it's located in the far corner of the living room and wasn't able to cool any areas other than the living room and kitchen.
The management company was very quick to respond to any issues or concerns that we had, which was wonderful.
Overall this condo served our needs for our stay. I believe if some of these minor issues are addressed it would be a 5 star unit.

My bucket list!
Beautiful view! Loved sitting on the lani just taking in the fresh air. Nice accomodations. Loved watching the turtles playing in the surf. Only one disappointment the speakers on tv sounded blown. Overall wonderful 9 nights? Would very much consider a repeat visit!!!!

Gorgeous ocean front view
The view from the deck was gorgeous although we did not get a view of sunsets. We even saw some whales off shore one day. The condo was very comfortable. We even used the common barbecue a couple nights and found it clean and easy to use.

Ma'alaea Wonderful at 412
We enjoyed almost two weeks at Banyans 412 in Jan/Feb. Fabulous central location for travelers who don't need the full resort experience, esp easy walk to Sugar Beach one direction and the Harbor the other. [walk to the general store & cafe for sundry items, wine, and fantastic fish&chips) Condo was clean with well equipped kitchen, laundry worked great, online photos were truthful. When you arrive at the unit after a long flight, treat yourself to a hot shower in the main floor bathroom--wowza wonderful! Definitely recommend the top-floor units in this building for the loft and the amazing views of the whales in the bay. CBIP Vacations was a great property manager with multiple emails re: check in and our satisfaction. But more than that, we appreciated their attentive actions because we were there during the recent floods in Kihei and upcountry. We were very safe but they reached out to make sure we knew how to contact them if we had any concerns or issues during that weather. Recommend 412 and hope to get back.

Fantastic Views
Condo was fantastic, views were amazing. This is a very small building, I believe 80 units. Very quiet, peaceful and in a quiet area. Very centrally located. I would absolutely recommend this condo. Only downside was couch was uncomfortable. Washer/dryer in unit made stay alit easier too

Loved our Maui, HI vacation.
Wonderful rental property. Loved the ocean bay views. Beautiful sunrises in the morning. 5 mile beach within walking distance. Snorkeling excursion within walking distance. Loved the general store with cafe. Hallway to rental needs to be brighter for safety reasons. Air conditioner was repaired when notified of malfunction. Unit was cooler and comfortable for sleeping. Property across the street could use some curb appeal. Would stay again. Loved the kitchen and living area with bay view.

Perfect location, Amazing viewa
Our unit was ready by the advertised check-in time. Top rated customer service who was readily available to answer any questions. Unit was very clean, beds very comfortable, and well stocked kitchen. A good supply of starter supplies were stocked. The beach towels/beach chairs were a nice addition. Sitting on the comfortable lanai daily and watching the whales, as well as turtles, was very fun. The proximity of being in between both Kihei and Lahaina made it very easy to drive to either within 15/20 minutes. Highly recommend this unit.

A Great Place!

My family and I had a great stay at Unit #412 at the Maalaea Banyans. With two adults and two little kids we found the unit to be perfect for everything we needed. The trade winds kept the place nice and cool, and the view was spectacular. We used the kitchen for cooking meals, watched the sunrise from the lanai every morning, and had a short walk to the nearby Haycraft park/beach, restaurants and shopping at the harbor, and the aquarium. Being able to do laundry was a big plus and it was nice having a fridge/freezer, and fully furnished place. Our kids loved the sand toys and board games. We found Maalaea to be centrally located and a short drive to Lahaina, Kihei, and Kahului. We really felt like it was a home away from home. I highly recommend this place.

Paradise Found

My wife and family have been visitors to Maui many times, always staying near the busy resorts of Kaanapali; that is, until we discovered Maalaea Banyans unit 412. This ocean front home is beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and clean, and very well appointed. The property is literally on the water with views of humpback whales, Kihei, and islands Kaho'olawe and Molokini from the family room, kitchen, and master bedroom. The property itself is very well maintained, centrally located on the island, and within 5 walking minutes of beautiful sugar beach (sunning, swimming, and snorkeling) and restaurants/markets. Want to see sea turtles...just walk 40 feet to the properties ocean front every afternoon. The support staff from Caldwell Islands was a pleasure to deal with too, as we had to reschedule our stay twice due to CV-19. No issues. Overall we loved our stay at the Maalaea Banyans unit 412 - Paradise Found! We will return again, and again.

Overall a good place

The condo was clean, well stocked with bedclothes, towels, dishes.
My only disappointment was the pool/hot tub closed at 9pm sharp, as did all access to the beach.
Otherwise the staff was prompt to assist as needed and our stay was wonderful

Great spot for those who are looking for one away from the bustle

This condo is a very comfortable unit. The second bedroom is in a loft overlooking the living room so it’s not completely private. The kitchen is fairly well equipped, and the little bonus room with the futon is handy. However the unit only has one air conditioning unit and it’s mounted in the balcony/living room window. It’s on a two hour timer and it was nearly impossible to keep the place cool, especially in the back bedroom and bonus room. It was very hot while we were there so it made this stay uncomfortable much of the time. On the plus side the beach adjacent is fairly quiet compared to the others. Lots of sea turtles and jumping fish to see, right off the balcony.

Perfect Maui get-away
Really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the sea turtles. Because the condo is on the top floor, you can leave the your windows and doors open all night, so you get the nice cool ocean breeze, and the sound of the waves is very relaxing.

A month in paradise

We were very pleased from the moment we walked into the door until the time we had to say good bye to our home away from home. The condo was everything we hoped for plus more. The view was awesome and watching the whales daily was incredible along with the turtles making their daily appearance.
The location is great for all your island site seeing and daily activities. Enjoyed the local restaurants and shops. There is a short walk to the beach for walking but it is worth it. We hope to be back soon.

Beautiful location

Beautiful complex with small private sitting beach right in front. Just a short walk to a 6 mile stretch of gorgeous beach, never crowded. The views from the balcony are spectacular. A short walk to the harbor is also convenient for dinner cruises and activities tours. We love that this location is away from all the hustle and bustle for pure relaxation but it is also central Maui which makes it easy to visit any location you are interested in exploring. We will return as often as possible!
