You'll enjoy the terrific location of this comfortable 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo. Ekolu 1705 is walking distance to restaurants and shops and a short drive to the beach. Kick back on multiple lanai options, enjoying the lovely trade winds. Sleep will come easy after a day of adventure - sailing, snorkeling, surfing, shopping or touring! King bed is in the primary and there are two twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request. Both have ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers for your convenience. This unit is conveniently located on the ground floor that flows right out to the 11th Tee Box of the Elite Wailea Blue Course. One of the two pools is steps away and a five-minute walk will take you to world-class Wailea Beaches, The Shops at Wailea and fine dining restaurants. Ekolu is known for its private and peaceful setting with incredible views. Take advantage of special golf and tennis rates offered to guests!

Great choice!
Great property with a nice view. Easy walking distance to mall and top restaurants. Air conditioners kept things cool even during hot days.

All about the view
The view from this condo is spectacular. The grounds are beautiful and impeccably maintained, it definitely was suitable for our stay and I would not hesitate to book again in hopes that the caretakers act on some of the issues we had.
When planning our visit I reached out to ask what equipment was available in the condo and was told there would be enough beach chairs for each guest but was given a vague answer as to what else was there so we added a cooler to our rental, along with a wagon and an umbrella, only to find out that there were actually two coolers already in the condo.
The one portrayed on the website was not the one actually delivered to the condo, it was big and bulky and we wouldn't have been able to use it anyway and didn't. The whole rental process and dealing with CBvacations that manages this property was seamless. One of our party had medication that had been forgotten on the mainland, it was delivered to the main office location on a day that we were gone for the whole day so they brought the package to the condo for us and that was very appreciated.
So about the condo...
The pocket door in the bathroom broke on arrival... one of us got stuck in there HA! first we could not get it open then it would not close, however the Aloha was strong so we just dealt with it. A representative brought a tension rod and a curtain so at least we had some privacy and 2 people could utilize the space more realistically.
The AC in the living room is not adequate for the space and does not cool it down well at all. I feel that they need a ductless unit in the living room located more centrally and not down in the bottom of a corner. The AC units in the bedrooms worked great. We were there in August so leaving doors and windows open for a cross breeze was not an option. Due to the magnificent wall of windows that look out over the view and the sensational sunsets the front room gets very warm.

We strive to be upfront and let you know exactly what to expect. We have since fixed the pocket door in the bathroom and assessed the AC in the living room. We will look through our descriptions and make changes as necessary to accurately depict the condo, as well as the items within the condo. Great Place!

Marvelous! The place was clean and well equipped-even down to snorkeling gear! You don't have to search for a sunset-it's right off your back lanai. Loved the place- very roomy & we had 2 teen boys. Very nice pool . Will be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wailea Ekolu. The unit was lovely. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The unit is close to excellent shopping and the beach. The view from the patio is stunning.

A Week Away

The unit was clean, ready and lovely cool inside temp when we arrived. The rental folks checked in with us that afternoon to make sure everything was as needed. We were in walking distance to restaurants, coffee spots, the Shops at Waelia and the beachside walking path. Our unit was located toward the upper part of the complex, so some hills were involved in our walks, but we were close to the pool and had a lovely ocean view. The rental agency was very pleasant and quickly responsive. We would definatly recommend them to anyone in the future.

Great Stay in Wailea Ekolu

We enjoyed our stay! Our favorite things were all of the kitchen gear and small appliances which we used daily. We also enjoyed the lanai for dinner and watching the sunset. The location is great and we were very close to several beautiful beaches (Wailea, Po'olenalena, Ulua, Big Beach, Mokapu, Maluaka, Palauea). We used the available beach towels and chairs and were also close to the large pool.

Beautiful view, like home stay

We loved being able to cook and eat as a family while watching the sunset on the water every night. This place was like having a home in Hawaii, which was great as new parents (we had a 10 month old with us).

Great stay at Wailea Ekolu 1705
Our family of four stayed at Ekolu 1705 for one and half weeks and we had a wonderful time. The condo is exactly as described in the posts. The condo is clean and well maintained. The grounds are well kept, and neighbors friendly.
Check in process is very simple and easy. The rental agency even has a guest relations team to make sure your every need is addressed quickly.
The location is at Wailea, so you will need a car to get anywhere, but that was a not a problem for us since we had a rental car. Wailea is a quieter part of Maui, which is exactly what we were looking for; but if you want to see more people, you may want to stay in Kihei.
The best part is the view to the ocean from the lanai; you can watch the sunset from your home every evening.
All in all, we had a great stay at the condo and would recommend to others.

Pure Aloha!

We loved this home!The location is perfect and quiet with amazing views and easy walks to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The kitchen was great for cooking, had everything we needed and was so beautiful eating on the lanai. There were many beach extras such as chairs and toys you can take to the beach with you. The home was very comfortable, clean, and would totally stay here again, would recommend for sure!!
