This oceanfront studio at Magic Sands, located on the iconic Ali'i Drive, offers a humble abode with a kitchenette, bathroom, queen-size bed, a small dining table and a sleeper sofa. It's the perfect spot to listen to the waves lulling you to sleep while enjoying paradise.
Conveniently located next to Magics Beach Grill, you're just a short stroll away from some of the best food and drinks on the Kona coast. Whether you're looking for a morning cup of Kona coffee at Magics Beach Shack, or an inspired meal made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients for lunch or dinner, there's something for everybody moments away from your doorstep.
Upon entering the studio, you'll find a fully stocked kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator and everything an at-home chef needs. Enjoy the queen-size bed and the tropical decor of the home. Stream your favorite shows from the smart TV or simply savor the views. You can dine inside at the table for four or take your dinner outside by the pool. The sleeper sofa is next to the bed, separated by a small half wall. You can sit on the couch, listen to the waves, or read a book. You'll enjoy the oceanfront location from the moment you walk in!
There is a pool for guests to use next to the ocean, as well as a large grassy area.

Great Location for Beach and Snorkeling
Lovely relaxing place - near to outdoor activities. All the facilities and equipment for self catering. Spacious for a couple - and the two fans were more than adequate for those hot nights. Nice and relaxing breeze from the sea. Enjoyed seeing the tropical fish and turtles in very nearby sea. Property management team extremely responsive and friendly. One little suggestion is an update of bed and bedding.

Great location - Magic Sands Beach right next door; beautiful views right on water (sunsets were amazing); great pool; had everything you needed for beach and for cooking.

Wonderful Stay.

Waves from the Pacific Ocean are breaking down just outside our living area. We are married for 48 years. This is our best stay in life.

White Sands Magic

Great location the White Sands is a very safe area whoch was important to us in choosing a location. The water was very close and captivating as you looked and heard it from the room. I will definitely be back here again. The price was fair and the room had everything you vould ask for and more. The area is very quiet no revelry or drunks walking around like a crazy party town. Highly recommend, its not shiny new or very modern but you didn’t go to Hawaii to stay indoors either, its extremely comfortable. Food is expensive in Hawaii so stock up at Costco or Walmart and cook breakfast at least you will save some money.

Sleep to sound of waves
The place is well worn but they keep it very clean. It's so peaceful to sleep with the lanai doors open and hear the sound of the crashing waves all night long. You will hear noise from the busy street on the other side because there are no windows above the door or in the bathroom. It is just permanent openings with screens so it does not block out any noise. Thankfully the street died down later at night so it wasn't a bother while sleeping. People were smoking in hall outside a couple of yimes which drifts right into the rooms so they maybe need more signs saying no smoking in front of rooms. It was very nice they provided a cooler and had ice trays. It would have been nice to have boogie boards. The place we stayed on the other side of the island offered them but we didn't have opportunity to use them over there, however we would have on this side. There is no AC, just ceiling fans so if it doesn't cool off much at night it gets quite sticky feeling and warm for sleeping.

Kona Magic Sands 113 is Magic
I arrived late at night and had access to the unit through a keyless punch code access system (they need to upate their arrival instructions which refer to "two keys." Upon entry I found the unit to be clean and ready for my stay. I immediately opened the sliding glass door and was greeted by the ocean breeze and sounds of the surf, which was wonderfully present throughout my stay.
I enjoyed my stay in the unit.
The unit has two very comfortable beds. With the hide-a-bed being used the unit does get a bit cramped but not a problem. Plentiful linens and beach towels, never ran out during the stay. The unit provides a starter pack of laundry pods for the complex's laundry--a nice touch.
We cooked steaks on the clean communal gas bbq units near the pool.
The unit is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, all the usual appliances.
Unit is secure with easy access to our assigned parking space.
The one small downside to staying is the unit has signs posted throughout reminds guests of operations and a few rules. Other units I have stayed in has signs, but Magic Sands 113 overdoes it a bit. Not a big thing just a little our of place.
There is a new restaurant in the complex, Magics. You can dine in the restaurant, one their patio, or take out to your unit. The food and drinks are tasty and reasonably priced.
Magic Sands 113 is a wonderful bargain with great ammenities and access to the beach.
In the days leading up to the stay, Ireceived no less than four emails from the management company--all containing the same info.
The complex is quiet, especially at night, with some street noise from Alli road. Most of it can't be heard over the sound of the surf and none of it is out of the oridinary.

Great Trip

We enjoyed staying at the Magic Sands 113 in our visit to the Big Island. The unit was a perfect size for two visitors. The location was great. Parking stall right outside the unit. There is a great view out of the front window, and a nice restaurant close by.

Lovely Ocen-Side Studio

This unit was clean and was kitted out with some super useful items for our use. Most useful inclusions for us were the cooler, folding chair, beach towels and coffee maker.
We were a party of 2 sleeping in the Murphy bed and the fold out couch. Both super comfortable and the proximity to the ocean meant we had built in white noise at all times.
The listing should NOT be for 1 Bedroom as it is definitely a STUDIO. We are super close friends so we shared the space effortlessly. It would be a great space for a family or close friends to travel but if 2 couples tried to share thinking they may have the privacy and f a bedroom, there would definitely be some disappointment. We loved the location as we had a car and were able to adventure out in every direction. The retro decor gives this place a unique flavour. We were grateful for this space to call home and we thrilled that any issues were addressed immediately. I would like to know more about longer term stay rates. ����������
