This top-floor, Kihei holiday condo has a panoramic ocean view and sits up above popular Keawakapu Beach. Wake to the sounds of the ocean waves lapping at the sandy beach below. Then grab your coffee and step out on your private lanai to relax before your beautiful morning beach stroll. Rent a kayak and paddle out to view turtles and even humpback whales in the winter months. After working up an appetite, pop in and enjoy brunch oceanfront at the onsite restaurant before taking a much-deserved nap under the shade of the palm trees just steps away. Follow with an afternoon dip in the ocean including snorkeling just feet from turtles and tropical fish. Then close out the daylight by watching the sun drop into the Pacific from the shoreline of your Kihei vacation condo, or from your top-floor lanai while sipping your favorite beverage. If you wanted to end the night with a nice homemade dinner, the kitchen is fully stocked and ready for the home chef to whip up a meal fit for King Kamehameha himself. All appliances, cookware, service wares, and dishes are provided.

As you ready for bed, there are 2 options for sleeping quarters. The primary suite is ocean-facing and is set up as an “open concept” studio with the living areas and king bed open to each other. In this space, you can lie in bed and watch the moonlight reflect off the ocean as you drift asleep. Or you can click on your favorite TV show and watch until your eyes get heavy. A full bathroom with large vanity and tiled shower is just opposite the bed. The guest room also has ocean and mountain views facing West and is situated just off the entry hall. It has its own en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combo and offers 2 twin beds that can be converted comfortably into a King bed upon prior request. Both rooms and the living space each have their own ductless AC units. There is dining inside at the breakfast bar and dining al fresco at the table with seating for 4 on the lanai.

We have added very detailed cleaning checklists and have also implemented dual disinfecting procedures that include cleaning ALL high-touch surfaces and following up with an EPA-registered disinfectant. We have then added a 2nd spray of the EPA disinfectant prior to guest arrival on doorknobs, handles, remotes, and switches. We are requiring all staff and cleaners to wear masks and gloves.

We have been staying at the Mana Kai for 5 years, the location and amenities that they offer are hard to beat. Having the 808 Grocery downstairs along with on site rental for equipment makes it so convenient. The restaurant is under renovations and a much needed change. Unit 815 was well appointed with towels, kitchen supplies, clean and exactly as advertised. We unfortunately experienced AC issues that were mentioned in prior comments. It seems that the unit in the main room is not able to keep up. The bedroom unit worked great. All in all, highly recommend #815.

We arrived late and checkin was a breeze. The condo was clean, well-equipped and everything worked properly. There were a pair of beach chairs in the spare bedroom closet. Keyless entry was great! View from top floor balcony was divine. Air conditioning kept us cool and drowned out roosters crowing in the night. Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us!

This was our first time to Maui, and it did not disappoint. The room is fabulous, and the view - well, I would have to invent new words for it. Check in was smooth, place was clean and comfortable - we will definitely be staying here again!

Location is very good. Easy 2 minute access to the beach. The accommodations are a bit tired. For the cost per night it really needs the broken tiles and other updates, has some miles on it. Now that said it is comfortable.

Easy check-in and out, very clean and enough space for family of four, amazing view, great amenities (beach chairs and towels included), perfect pool, relaxing (shaded) lawn with lounge chairs, rentals for paddle boards snorkeling on the property, easy access to laundry, great location that is close to shops and restaurants, etc.! Everything about this place is perfect and we would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our stay at high was great. The view from the deck wow !! I could sit there and drink my mai tai all day also was nice because when the wind did kick up we were protected. amenities are beautiful there was nothing that I thought of that should’ve been there. snorkeling was great walking and walking on that beautiful beach was great. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open so we did have to drive to food or for a drink but we were smart and went and stocked up!! Only thing I would say is when the instructions say please keep sliding door closed if AC is in use there is a sensor and it will turn off even if the door is open a half an inch !! It took maintenance coming to really understand that that was literal do not try to have the AC open with the door even a crack!!

We had a wonderful experience at the Mana Kai - the unit we stayed in was clean, updated, and had wonderful views. Top floor, end unit meant max privacy. Loved that it had beach towels and chairs. The location was absolutely perfect for beach access, but you will likely want a car or bike to get to restaurants, as it is a decently long walk to the closest one. Note that you can walk the beach the entire way to the Andaz and the start of the pathway that goes between the big Wailea resorts in about 15-20 min, which was a wonderful place to watch the sunset.<br/><br/>Only nits were that the description stated the kitchen was fully stocked, but we didn't have any paper towels, olive oil or splenda/sugar in the unit for coffee. They did bring paper towels a couple days later, so I think that piece was an oversight. Just know, if you want to cook, you will need to provide everything other than cookware (also no tupperware or ziplocks/foil/etc.). I also would have loved, for $500+/night, better quality toilet paper.<br/><br/>But those are all small things - overall we had a delightful stay and would definitely stay here again!

I've been visiting Maui for over 20 years. The Mana Kai is one of my favorite places to stay. The crashing waves are the last thing you hear at night and the first thing you hear in the morning. The unobstructed view from this unit is stunning. <br/><br/>Since this unit is on the top floor, the second bedroom also has an unobstructed ocean view unlike lower units that are partially blocked by the neighboring building. Since this is an end unit, there is no walkway outside the second bedroom window so you can leave the curtains open and enjoy the view. (Center units have a walkway and other guests have to walk past your window to get to their units.)<br/><br/>This unit was clean and comfortable and beautiful. The kitchen is well stocked with nice quality pans and knives. I cooked dinner three nights and just sat on the lanai to enjoy the sunset.<br/><br/>I will definitely seek out this unit next time I have a chance to stay at the Mana Kai.
