This is our third time staying at at grand champions property. It is a great location with easy access to restaurants and beaches. This condo was impressively stocked with kitchen items beach chairs and umbrella. It was great that they had a pair of binoculars, and stereo. We traveled with friends and they stayed in the master bedroom and did not complain about the bed and this couple is very particular. The second bedroom bed had a large valley in it and I would suggest replacing the sagging mattress soon. Living room furniture was comfortable. The two pools were heated and very enjoyable. The hot tubs were very clean. We grilled a few nights. The weber grills were the only ones available and they were not in great condition. The bathtub in the second bedroom is a bit of a climb to get over especially after a day at the beach and a few glasses of wine. The clientele was mostly grandparents with grandchildren. My wife and I are in our early 50s and it had been a younger group during previous visits. The property does not have a fitness center. It is extremely quiet. This condo was well positioned with a good breeze and we only turned on the A/C two afternoons. The dishwasher had a a smell on the dishes after the first wash. I noticed the food particle trap was full and moldy so i scrubbed it and the smell went away. We had an incident were a maintenance person entered the condo after a loud knock without much warning. The surprise was on them 🙂 we will be back without hesitation.

The unit was absolutely perfect. Impeccably clean with plenty of room for our family of 4. We thought the location was great and we were very happy to find the dumbbells in the closet for morning workouts.

The vacation rental was true to the picture. The location was accessible; the pool is right outside your door. The area is quite, we didn't realize we had neighbors next door until we all walked out together one day.
The owners of our condo keep the place well supplied from towels, beach chairs/umbrella, mini coolers to kitchen supplies (more than the normal kitchen supplies). They had seasonings, oils, several sets of dishes, baking dishes, wine glasses, etc.

Fantastic Condo!!!! Great Location!
I was impressed as soon as I walked in the door of the condo. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. A gift basket was waiting for us on the counter. The condo is close to several great restaurants and easy to find by driving to the end of Piilani Highway, which means you don't have to deal with daily bumper to bumper traffic crawling along South Kihei Road. Would definitely rent this again.

Wonderful Condo in Wailea!
This top floor unit is centrally located in Wailea and the back patio has a stunning ocean view. We even saw whales in the distance during our stay! The kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped and the unit was clean and comfortable. There are AC units in both bedrooms and living room if you need them. We opened the place and turned on the fans and the temp was perfect.

WE really enjoyed our rental. It was really great having beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and a washer and dryer. Conveniently located to the beaches and shops, clean and quiet. The keyless entry worked out great and was very convenient.

Nice Stay in Paradise
We have rented in the Grand Champions complex several times and have enjoyed a total of six other units within the complex over the past couple of years. We are also vacation home owners, so we provide this review with an understanding of the rental business and vacation property management. The unit is conveniently located within the complex near the family pool with views of Haleakala volcano on one side and the ocean on another. What you will love about the unit: 1) Great location to everything Wailea, 2) Great views, 3) wonderful new smart TVs in each room, 4) good mattresses on each bed, especially the queen mattress in the guest room, and 5) location location location! What you may not like about the unit: 1) the unit is in need of some updates and is beginning to look a little tired, 2) there are no glass dishes and the kitchen is lacking some key items such as a knife sharpener (cutting with the knives is nearly impossible) and there is only one spatula and no grilling equipment to use on the grills, 3) the internet should be upgraded to a higher speed (this was probably the slowest internet of all the units we have rented within Grand Champions and problematic for us since we are business owners and have to work while on vacation, and 4) with a little TLC and updates this unit would be worthy of five stars. Our initial stay was for three weeks and we stayed an additional week for a total of one month. The property management company was very easy to deal with and were very responsive. Overall, I would recommend this unit for a great short term stay and a good long-term stay.
