Excellent unit and booking experience.

What a beautiful and wonderfully appointed unit! This is our 11th time to the Banyan, so obviously, we love the proximity of the Banyan to everything we love. The owner has thought of every possible detail to make a stay fantastic. The level of communication from CB Island Vacations was perfect and all of the very thoughtful welcome touches are truly appreciated. We\'re very grateful and hope to be back soon!

Close to the beach!

Just a few minute walk to the beach, some shops and restaurants near by, our favorite restaurant was Moose McGillycuddy's. There is a full kitchen to cook your own meals. AC units and fans may need to be upgraded. It was nice that we were able to do our laundry in the unit. There’s two bathrooms, the one near the entrance had a constant buzzing noise coming from the fan. Overall it’s a great place to stay! Location is great. The place was clean, would recommend family or friends to stay at this place, I will stay here again.

Maui Banyan

Visiting Maui family, location important, beach across the street that I swim in the early morning and watch the sunrise. Pool available for my young great grand kids. Management company very responsive to a minor problem. I was very impressed.

49th Wedding Anniversary

The property was everything we expected, it was well kept and newly renovated. The partial view of the ocean was beautiful (especially at sunset) and beach was easy to get to. The property management was very responsive and professional in responding to our questions. We highly recommend this one to relax and enjoy. We did have issues with watching the NFL playoff games because we couldn't get the networks on Spectrum/Vizio TV setup. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

First VRBO stay

This was our first VRBO rental experience, and I think for the rental property as well. Pictures are accurate and check-in and out was easy. We enjoyed our stay and condo. The complex and location was nice too. The condo was clean and updated, and ground maintenance was very good. Being able to do our laundry in our condo was very convenient. Some of the furniture could use updated. The sofa sleeper was uncomfortable for sitting. We did not use it for sleeping as there was just 2 of us staying there. Communication with the management about a toilet seemed to get little response.

Perfect Stay!

Just stayed in Maui Banyon H505 for a week and a half and couldn’t be happier that we chose to stay there! Lovely condo! Very clean, comfortable, quiet, beautiful view of the hillside slope of Haleakala to the left and to the right, there is a bit of a view of the ocean through the trees to the right. As stated in the description it’s just a short 3 minute walk to the beach, and there are also a variety of restaurants and shops within a short walking distance. We truly appreciated having extras in the condo for use - beach chairs, beach/pool towels, a couple of pool noodles, and even a collapsible wagon. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen had all the cookware, utensils, etc. we needed. Although there are 2 air conditioning units - one in the bedroom and one in the main area - it never gets super-cool. So if you like it in the 60’s or low 70’s, you might not be pleased. From what I hear, and from the temperature that most stores and restaurants were, this seems to be the norm. Just don’t expect it to be like Florida where every air conditioned building is freezing cold! We were still very comfortable even though we usually like it much cooler. We only contacted the management company once, and they were extremely responsive. Overall I don’t think you can go wrong choosing to stay here!
Aloha Kendra, Thank you so much for wonderful review. Maui Banyan H505 is a fantastic unit. Being situated across from Kam II and next to Freds (Taco Tuesday) you really cannot go wrong. I agree with you restaurants he air conditioning the norm here is 72-74 for most stores, restaurants and units. Once you get into the 70's thats when we put on sweat shirts.
