This unit has recently had a beautiful full remodel and has been newly repainted! A new updated modern queen sleeper sofa with a secondary memory foam pad added for your comfort. The fully equipped kitchen has been remodeled as well with new custom quartz breakfast bar countertops with stools making it feel bright and spacious. This will be very convenient for prepping meals and having snacks. The cozy bedroom offers a king bed and Smart TV. En suite bathroom with a new custom quartz vanity and separate luxurious remodeled stand-up shower and toilet area. New full-size washer and dryer which is quiet in the unit for your convenience. Sugar Beach 209 has one of the best locations in the complex as it is a great unit for families! Parents can relax on the lanai with a new table and chairs and easily oversee the whole pool area. Also, if you park on the second-story garage, you can walk right to unit 209 without stairs or an elevator, which is very handy when bringing in luggage and supplies!

Sugar Beach Resort is a great location to enjoy a peaceful evening watching the picturesque sunsets while taking in nature's splendid panorama. Find shopping and golf nearby, then come home and relax at the beachfront swimming pool, wading pool, sundeck, putting green, and sauna. Luxuriate in the soothing hot tub while stargazing after dinner. Amazing lanai view of ocean and pool/hot tub!

We had a wonderful stay at this Condo. The unit was furnished nicely with updatd kitchen and bath. We loved the fact that there were small things that helped comply with the owner/mahanger requests such as a few extra garbage bags and paper products. It is nice to see a place very contientous of their grounds too. The "Sandwitch" shop that is located on premises has a wonderful welcoming feel. Mahalo for the hospitality!

Great location, nice condo, terrific views

The building is old, but the condo was perfect, just as in the photos, and the price is perfect for what you get. So I give it 5 stars. The internet was great. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated very nicely and the furniture was really nice. TVs in living room and in bedroom. Kitchen had everything you would need - like home! The second floor was easy to get to. This condo is quiet. We enjoyed overlooking the pool, to see when the right time to go in, and to enjoy watching people having a great time. Plenty of pool area furniture and never crowded. There is also the nice lawn facing the ocean with more lounge chairs. The ocean was just right. One might need water shoes if you go past the sandy bottom a few yards - there are small pebbles on the bottom. I would go back again. The location so perfect you can get to Kihei, Airport, West Maui and Paia easily! So convenient!

Great Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach. We loved our view of the ocean and the central location and easy access to the pool and hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked and plenty of linens and cleaning supplies were provided. There was lots of accessible free parking and the location was central to all the activities we had planned. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Great condo, poor internet

Great condo but downfall is spotty internet and poor connection. Best connection is when you are on the lanai. TV in the room required wireless internet and was difficult to even have the kids watch a cartoon show in the morning or evenings. My husband required the use of the internet for his work and had to sit next to the modem in order to get the best connection. Other than the internet issue, the condo was clean and location was great.

Sugar Beach Resort is Amazing

We rented Sugar Beach condo unit 209. Amazing view from the lanai. Our lanai view matches the pictures advertised online. Our 2nd story condo looked over the pool, hot tub and clear views of the ocean. The unit was clean and fit our family of 4. The unit had 1 bedroom and a sleeper sofa. Everything was clean. Having a full kitchen was a huge benefit. Don't expect the resort to look like a 5 star Marriott. That is not the point. The resort is older, but everything is clean. Remember the price you are paying...if you want a 5 star hotel, then go stay at one and pay double what you are paying for Sugar Beach. It is a short 5 minute walk to get shave ice, bakery, and gift shops. Kihei is quiet without congestion and traffic. Less than 20 mins to the OGG airport and only about 35-40 mins to Lahaina and Paia. Eat at the Sand Witch right on the resort, great sandwiches and Mai Tais! Make sure to hit Kimo's, Hanu, Fish Market, Frida's, Lava Rock Rooftop. We loved our stay at Sugar Beach!

Great location, beautiful beach and property

Unit was ok-it could use some extra cleaning in the bathroom. Ceiling fan and top of shower track is dusty. Mosquitos seemed to be murky in the closet—I would kill one and then we would see another fly out of the closet. The bed is comfortable but will probably need replaced in next six months as it is a soft style and starting to auto roll you to middle. Kitchen well stocked with just about anything you needed. Property is clean and well cared for. I loved the Central location. Easy to get around the island to Hana, Paia, Haleakala, Wailea, Kihei and Maalaea Harbor. Activity desk located right on the property made it easy to book activities and rent SUP, snorkel gear etc. Unit had beach towels, chairs and toys. I would stay here again.
